I have given up on reading
Lisey's Story. I just can't get into the story. Oh I've tried because I spent 20 bucks on the book, but it is time now to reclaim my life and move onto better books. At the book store, the clerk enthusiastically recommended
The Kite Runner. She says that they (her fellow clerks) read four or five books a week. They read The Kite Runner fifteen months ago and they have yet to find a better book. Well, how's that for a recommendation, heh? And, four chapters in, I say so far so good.

I seem to recall a review here in the UK of this particular book "The Kite Runner".
Thanks I will have to check it out - obviously it has glowing recommendations from the clerks and yourself too.
I am still into the book "Same Souls, Same Bodies" - I think I may have to bring my reading to an earlier time - as I seem to fall asleep after 1-2 pages.
Have a wonderful weekend and thanks for your ever welcome comments.
I'd read more books but this blogging stuff gets in the way. Maybe I need to change that....
LOL what Sirdar said! I have so many books sitting here to read. I plan on really cracking down over the summer and getting some, or all, read. You'll have to let us know if it's two thumbs up when you're done reading it. I can add it to my stack :o)
I agree with Sirdar, maybe I would read in the evening but blogging stuff really seems to be cutting into any of that
Nice books! But unfortunately I have at the moment not much time to reading.I wish I had more time.Maybe on the evenings in the bed...
Is 20 bucks = 20 dollars?
My last book cost £1.49 (Scottish Sterling). Always on the look out for a bargain and often pop into our local Hospice shop - they have some wonderful books and it helps raise the funds for such a wonderful charity too.
