Bonfire

Saturday night we were invited to a brush burning party at the neighbour's across the street. It was a nice chance to visit with everyone. Sirdar and his family were there along with my next door neighbours that I talk about all of the time on here. The kids had fun running around in the bushes.

Remember the spooky moon? Well, here is spoooky Sirdar. Whooooooo.

Yes it was a good time. I'm happy that we were invited. However, I'm starting to think we have a bunch of pyromaniacs in our subdivision. Seems we get together when were burning something...and then drink to celebrate. Any excuse is good for us :-)

After we get our roof on, well be having a brush burning party. You're all invited!!

The mystique of Canada - what does go on around the bonfires - spooky!!

Luv the photo's - just wish I could have been there too - save one's heating bills - you understand!!

Now this is the way it should be...neighbours getting together. I was just talking about this with my kids. I was telling them how 'way back when' neighbours would get together and have big fires and drinks and lots and lots of food. It just doesn't seem like people do that anymore. Not out here anyhow. Even though we have great neighbours and everyone is friendly in our subdivision and would stop in a heartbeat if you needed help....no one gets together like the good old days.

I must say, I think u have great neighbors. When you have friends close then it makes "life" a whole lot richer. That looks like a great fire.
