Afternoon at the River

While J is at her horse back riding camp, I keeping R occupied doing play dates with his friend. His friend L came over yesterday, and they played in the pool. Afterwards we met his mom at the river with her day home kids. It's a lovely place to hang out with the kids. You do have to be careful, though, because the current is swift. We put our chairs in the water to be close, and to dabble our toesies, of course.

The water looks a little brown in that last picture. I would imagine that is at the D___n bridge?

Looks like they had fun.

"Afternoon at the River" - there is a poem - somewhere me thinks??

I don't need a river here - we have had sooo much rain - I'm swimming already.

Just look at the sunshine and he is obviously enjoying it - great days of summer!!

Looks like he had a great time, and a great way to keep cool in the weather we have been having.
