As I was belting out this tune in my van today (my favourite place to sing) I found myself thinking of you all out there in blogland. You all are so kind and generous. Thank-you.
I have rich and wonderful friendships. My family loves me so much. My life is full. Yet I find there is a space in my heart for the friendships I make in this space. This virtual world. I even think of you at times out in the real world. What poem would Peter concoct from this experience? I wonder if Joy has been to this greenhouse? What does Heather's homeschooling day look like? Those roses remind me of Steffi's roses from her garden. More and more I find myself thinking of you all. Weird. But true.
So, this song is for you. Even if you don't like Natalie Merchant these words are powerful in their simplistic gratitude.

Nice song. I do the same. I think about people in the blogosphere that I "talk" to all the time. It is kind of weird but i feel like I've made some really good friendships with some people out here.
