Slumpity Slump

Can someone who is not really a writer have writer’s block?

I’ve been mildly busy the last few days. However there have been snippets of time where I had the opportunity to be on the computer, but I came here and just kinda sat. There’s been stuff happening that I could certainly write about, but I just get a blank. Nothin’. I’ve even started writing a few posts and then stop and save them to drafts. If I’m bored writing it then you’ll certainly be bored reading it.

Huh. Maybe that’s my problem. No offence, but maybe I’m thinking too much of you all out there. This blogging thing is supposed to be for me anyway. Therapy. Self expression. Whatever you want to call it, but for me. Hmmmm.

Ahhh, it’s happening again. I don’t feel like finishing this, but I’m going to post it anyway. Maybe it’ll get me out of my slump.

Hope you get out of the slump soon. I do that sometimes also and then I just post a couple of pictures and comment on them. Very little writing...

There is one therapy that will help. Bloggers Anonymous.

Debbie, just go with the flow!!

Be yourself, write what you think, as you rightly say - it is your blog and it is your expressions what count!!!

I could give you my solution?

Which is to light my pipe up and smoke and smoke until the light comes on "upstairs"!!

Is that any good?

Yep that could be your problem. I 'never' write for who's reading. Strictly for myself. I know people stop by and roll their eyes at my posts or cringe when I swear a bit, or click away when I'm rambling, but I have been using my blog as strictly therapeutic and not only have more and more people come by to read....but it's helped tremendously to blow off steam and say the things I would never in a million years say out loud. Love it and am in desperate need of a BA meeting! Can't. Stop. Writing!

Just remember, one person's 'boring' is another person's 'delight'.

Peter - You're hilarious. But no. I don't think the pipe would help. :)

Bloggers Anonymous would help. Or instead - we should call it a Bloggers Support group. Yeah! Idea swapping. Ways to get out of a slump. Writing support. You could even hve a potography workshop. I think I'm onto something here...;)

I always enjoy your posts. I get what you're saying though, sometimes I will write a post and think who the hell wants to read this?

So you are setting up "Bloggers Support Group - that's wonderful!!

How do I become a member? - do I have to be anonymous?
