My Poor Camera

I've taken it to get serviced because the flash doesn't work half the time. Of course, when I took it into Best Buy, it was during the half time that it did work.

I'll likely be without the camera for several weeks. :( I just hope it comes back fixed. The Best Buy guy said if they can't see a problem then they'll just send it back to me. I say, just change the flash anyway, but nope. They won't do that.

So I'm sans camera, and I already miss it. Yesterday it happened twice that the kids were doing something picture worthy, and I felt the sting of loss.

Dear Camera,
Please, come back healthy and happy.

Oh I don't think I could go without my camera that long! I would go into withdrawl. Since i got a new camera for the moment till Kelly we have 2 digi cameras and I have a regular 35mm camera for backup. See I couldn't go without...

Poor Deb...Did you try whacking your camera? Cause when my camera stopped working I did that and it has been working fine since!

Isn't it crazy how we feel the need to have our cameras with us constantly. If I leave mine at home sure enough when I'm out and about there will be all sorts of photo ops...

Hope it gets fixed and back to you soon!

I feel for you. Hope it comes back as good as new.

There is one thing Best Buy can't take away from you...your mental images of your lovely kids doing what kids do.

I could not agree more with Sirdar - his wise words are indeed a wonderful thought for you.

When you write your blogs while you are waiting we can still visualise the event - and that's what blogging imagination is all about!!

No camera?? Ok I just stopped breathing for a minute. I would be one cranky soul if I didn't have my camera. And do you know I never use my flash? I have it turned off probably 90% of the time.

Actually I forgot that I still had a regular old 35 mm camera. It MIGHT do in a pinch. Orrrrr - I could ask mom if I could borrow her digital camera for awhile. Hint hint, mom. ;)

Heather - LOL! I remember that post!

I guess I could just watch my kids now - not through a camera lense. I suppose I could try that. ;)

Joy - Really? I find my inside pictures are blurry if I don't use the flash.

That would most likely be from your settings then. You have it set too slow which gives you camera shake. Bump that baby up to a higher setting. Also. For day time. Natural lighting is better than any flash :o) Ok taking my very amateur photo hat off now.

The joys of the "trusted and ever faithful 35mm".

The good old days - awaiting their return!!
