Ice on Whyte

I just saw this on Jane's blog. I have never been to this or even knew that it existed. I am SO going, and I can't wait until it opens. It looks like they have plenty of fun activities for children.

Enjoy Debbie :) Its great fun - the children get to try out ice carving but the ice they use isn't too great - so we froze margarine tubs of water at home and had a go ourselves with decent ice ;)

Some of the ice carvers are VERY talented - amazing how they do it and you get to watch them working :)

It is one of the highlights of our winter here because its just SO different to back home!

How neat! I wish we had something like that around here.

Hmmm...30 years in Edmonton and I had no idea! Might have to try that one out.

I really should pay more attention to what goes on in the Festival city ;)

I'm going to try and sneak this in before I head off on my business trip. So much to do, so little time...
