Later in the evening, after the corn maze, the family came over to our house for a wiener roast. There was good food and interesting conversation. As they were preparing to leave we gave them a bag a tomatoes from the garden. Adrian thought we should check to see if there were any more that had ripened and next thing I know we're digging up the potatoes! My Aunt certainly looked like she was enjoying herself. She mentioned that she hadn't dug up potatoes from a garden since she was a child. It was lovely to see her having such fun. The potatoes were huge. Hopefully they taste as good as they look. We didn't have a large crop so in a short time all of them were dug up. We have plenty and we sent a bag home each with my parents and my aunt and uncle.
