The science museum offers several homeschool classes on a variety of topics throughout the year. Wednesday was one of the days that we went. The kids attended three classes. “Boats and Floats”, “Chillin’ Out”, and “Colours, Colours”. They had a great time, and learned a lot. In Chillin’ Out the instructor made ice-cream from liquid nitrogen – the kids certainly got a kick out of that, and it tasted pretty yummy, too. I learned something new in Colours Colours. The primary colours are red, blue, and yellow (that’s not it – I did know that!), but the primary colours for light are slightly different. They are red, blue, and green. Didn’t know that! When you combine the regular primary colours you get black, but when you combine the primary colours of light you get white. Neat!
We’re looking forward to the next one in January.

Stupid public school education. A lot of good it did me..
I am terrible when it comes to my colours. The kids know them better than me. In fact, I have to ask Dawn sometimes if the pants and shirt colours go together. Sometimes I am even right!!
The Space Science Centre...or what ever it is call this year, is a neat place...especially for kids.
Yes, it's a great place. How lucky the kids are to be able to take their science classes there!
Happy: I don't know why it works, but it does! The instructor turned on the green, blue, and red lights toward the wall and it turned white. Freaky. It's amazing the stuff I'M learning through homeschooling!
