Resolutions are a recent topic on Happy and Blue 2’s site. I first read the post 3 or 4 days ago. At the end of the brief essay he asked whether or not we've thought of making New Year's resolutions. There were a couple of comments posted at the time, and I added my own to the list which was that I don’t make them because I don’t keep them. Although based on truth, it was meant to be a cute little remark. Since I’ve been enjoying this blog so much I check in frequently to see if there is something new written. There hasn’t been, but the comments section has grown exponentially. The majority of the comments are similar to my own, and many of them cuter. It got me thinking that the only way to keep a resolution is to make it attainable. So here’s my list.
I resolve to: - gain five to ten pounds.
- not to exercise 3-5 days per week.
- not to always drink 8 glasses of water per day.
- watch more TV.
- write fewer letters.
- make sure that I don’t keep on top of the household finances.
- spend even more money on groceries.
- eat in the evenings.
- gossip.
- get less organized.
I’m pretty sure that I can keep a couple of those, and I’ll likely add to the list. Anyone else have any?

I resolve to quit taking such good care of my kids and to do a really crappy job at work so I won't get promoted or something..
Hope you have a Happy New Year..
I wanted to come on and wish you a very Happy New Year Debbie. I hope 2007 is the best year ever for you :)
Happy New Year to you guys! Thanks for stopping by.
Happy New Year!! There are a few of those resolutions that I already keep :-)
Look forward to getting to know you and your family better in 2007.
Sleep-in longer, thus avoiding the need to make breakfast! and if at all possible = lunch too!!
