I took these literally from the side of the road out the window of my van. And look! My snow is white!!! I love how the sky is so blue, too. I hope it works when I'm taking pictures of the kids sledding next time.
I adjusted the exposure on my camera by one stop, and set it to the bright day mode. Hmmmm. May-be this worked just because it was such a bright day. I'm dis-heartened (if that's a word)now. :(
For those just tuning in: the snow in my pictures always turns out grey (as you'll see by scrolling down). I'm on a quest to take better winter shots.

Looks good. I will have to experiment with mine to see if I can get the same results.
